FP-3000b negative scanning problems

I've scanned the negatives from FP-3000b and these are what I got. WTF? Everyone looks like they're possessed by demons. But why? How? You're supposed to scan your negatives and invert them in photoshop and that's exactly what I've done. Only the last photo of four negatives came out how it's supposed to. Sort of. I just found out that you are NOT supposed to leave the negative in direct light after you peel it. Argghh!! This kind of effect is called Solarisation. This might look kinda cool if it was landscape or anything non-portrait. A lesson learned the hard way.
